GENERAL INFORMATION

Turn your Sony flash system wireless with this Metz WT-1 Wireless Trigger Kit. It includes a transmitter and receiver, the necessary components to create a wireless flash system, tuned to the 2.4 GHz radio frequency and with a range of up to 300 meters. This kit provides full transmission of TTL parameters, including high shutter speed sync and manual mode.

Wireless transceiver WT-1T for Sony

Use Metz’s WT-1T Wireless Transceiver and create a long-range setup of wireless flash units. Using the reliable 2.4 GHz radio frequency and a 15-channel spectrum, users can fire their receivers at a maximum distance of 300 meters, without requiring line of sight and with minimal interference.

This system is also compatible with Sony TTL flashes, offering TTL and manual control, as well as sync at high shutter speeds up to 1/8000s. There is a second TTL hot shoe on the unit for direct on-camera flash use or for toggle transceiver mode as receiver only.

When multiple flash units are used, the WT-1T transceiver offers control of up to three flash groups to support more complex lighting needs. There’s also an illuminated LCD display showing the active settings, as well as a regular sync socket for use with studio flash units. Additionally, there is a USB port for firmware upgrades.

Wireless receiver WT-1R for Sony

To expand your wireless flash system or to add wireless firing capability to an existing flash, use Metz’s WT-1R Wireless Receiver. Designed for Sony TTL flash systems, it operates at this 2.4 GHz radio frequency and covers a range of up to 300, while transmitting full TTL information.

Also, using a radio frequency system, you can place flash units where you need them without the need for visual contact with each other. Other advantages of this system are manual control and sync options at high shutter speeds up to 1/8000s.

In addition, this receiver has a shoe on top to accommodate a separate flash, as well as a regular sync socket for use with studio flash units. It is very easily mounted on a support as its foot has a 1/4″-20 thread.
